The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing and representative body for six inter/national and one local affiliated fraternities. The council is as a sounding board between member organizations and serves as a place to discuss questions of mutual interest and devise common solutions. Additionally, IFC meetings function as a common meeting ground to freely exchange ideas and perpetuate the growth of all member fraternities. The organizations place a significant emphasis on scholarship, civic engagement, leadership, and personal development.
How to Join
Each semester, IFC hosts an Information Night to kick off the two-week recruitment period for its member fraternities. Each chapter conducts their own recruitment events separately, so times and locations vary by organization. The recruitment period closes with IFC Bid Night where each chapter presents their new member class to the fraternity community. For more information, be sure to follow IFC and the individual chapters social media.
